| Shottle is the shoe of a bottle. Elegant shoe in genuine dark brown handmade leather tailored around a glass bottle. French model without tip, with round lace and brass eyelets. Low tail heel, in-view stitching and leather sole. Bottle of sparkling Franciacorta. Thanks to the Footwear Polytechnic, University of Padua and to the Masters Florindo Ceoldo and Gianni Menin.
The shoe-horn (tool to maintain the shape of a not-fit shoe) for the shottle is the bottle itself. The purpose of the artist is not the humanization of the bottle but the strict application of a craft technique on an object not covered by that technique. The bottle is the end user of the shottle but since it is object, not living being, there is no need to act in its place. |
Botteille est la bottine d'une bouteille. Chaussure elegante en vrai cuir tete de More fait à la main sur-mesure autour d’une bouteille de verre. Model francais sans pointe avec lacet rond et boutonniere en cuivre. Tallon bas à queue, coutures à vue et semelle en cuir. Bouteille de champagne Franciacorta. Le embauchoir (util pour mantenir la forme d’une chaussure non-chaussée) de la botteille est la bouteille meme. Le but de l’artiste n’est pas l’humanisation de la bouteille mais l’application rigoureuse d’une technique artisanale à un objet pas concu pour etre traiter par la meme technique. La bouteille est l’utilisateur final de la Botteille mais puisque elle est un objet, pas un etre vivant, il n’y a pas la necessité de lui trouver un objet remplacant. |
Scarpottiglia é la scarpa di una bottiglia. Calzatura elegante in vera pelle testa di moro fatta a mano su misura intorno ad una bottiglia di vetro. Modello francesina senza puntale con laccio tondo e occhielli in ottone. Tacco basso a coda, cuciture a vista e suola in cuoio. Bottiglia da spumante della Franciacorta. Il forma-scarpa (accessorio per mantenere la forma di una scarpa non calzata) della scarpottiglia é la bottiglia stessa. Il fine dell’artista non é l’umanizzazione della bottiglia ma l’applicazione rigorosa di una tecnica artigianale su un oggetto non contemplato dalla tecnica stessa. La bottiglia é l’utente finale della scarpottiglia ma essendo un oggetto e non un essere vivente non vi é la necessità di farne le veci. |
